Testimonials

Thank you for joining us at Worldly Women last week - we do hope you were inspired by our four career crusaders and enjoyed the event in recognition of International Women's Day 2009. As you know, this event attracted close to 650 attendees - the biggest event in recognition of IWD in Perth again this year! And we have had much positive feedback from women and our school attendees as reminders of the value of sharing this day together. Some comments: " ..for our girls, the day reinforces that education is the key and that anything is possible" (Teacher) "Just a quick thank you to you and the rest of the team for a wonderful expo on Friday. I really enjoyed it and it provided a great opportunity for me to be able to speak to the girls about what courses and services we provide - not to mention a delicious lunch and the networking opportunities !!"

Thanks you so much for coming out on Saturday especially with your world turning up-side down. All the feedback we got from staff were as usual in great praise of your training and they all go home at the end of the day feeling very up-lifted and ready to take on the world. All felt they could try that little harder and look at being more creative in what they do. So all thanks to you we have a very invigorated workforce. Take lots of care and I'm sure I'll be in touch from time to time. If you do have further training packages I would always be interested in hearing about them. Take care, all the best.

"My staff are still talking about your Community Inclusion training presentation from last week. It was the highlight of the 2 day forum. I was doing some training today with one of my coordinators and she referred to something you said. You certainly made an impact!"

"I engaged Kerry Allan -Zinner (Another Angle Consulting & Training) to provide Disability Awareness Training to our staff at St Bartholomew's House. St Bartholomew's House provides Crisis , Medium & Long Term Accommodation & Support Services to people who are experiencing Homelessness or are Financiallly Disadvantaged, Aged or have a Disability. The Training sessions were Professionally presented and Kerry's personal experience was invaluable in giving us insight into living with a disability and the difficulty people face. Kerry and her guest speaker ( Jenny) presented the sessions with much Humour, their Knowledge and Presentation Skills made the learning experience very enjoyable and informative .

Whilst St Bartholomew's House has always employed people with a disability as a result of the training we have recently employed a receptionist who has vision impairment (and her guide dog) which we may not have considered doing prior to this training."

Example of Staff Comments :

Thank you for a great afternoon. The Trainers positive approach and Nothing is impossible if we have the right attitude. Kerry is an inspiration to me and no doubt to many other people. That Disability is a large area that covers a lot of different areas like hearing ,vision and psychiatric etc. It was really informative and relevant to my occupational therapy studies. Each person comes to this world with talents therefore it is our responsibility to develop and support these talents to make a difference.
